A variety of options to meet the licensing regulations
Bonds in General
Bonding is recognised by the UK travel industry regulatory authorities as an effective means of providing consumer protection.
There are a number of specialist bond underwriters issuing travel bonds, and our policy is to obtain the most appropriate quotation for the risk. For the larger bonds we will often organise a syndicate of insurers to share the risk.
We are able to provide quotations for the following bonds:
-
ATOL Bonds – Required by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
-
ABTA Bonds – Both Retail Agents and Tour Operator Bonds
-
IATA Bonds – required to protect payments under BSP
-
ABTOT Bonds – Package Holiday Protection
-
Coach Company Bonds – For members of the Bonded Coach Holiday (BCH) section of the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT)
-
Irish Bonds – Provided for RoI Tour Operators and Travel Agents
-
Miscellaneous Bonds and Guarantees – Airline, Rail, Ferry, and National Express, etc.
-
Security Bonds – As a last resort, we can also provide all of the above bonds against security, whether it be cash, a letter of credit, or, where time permits, a charge against a property.
